Awareness workshop using “Sign Language”

The Fund pays great attention to customers of determination, by providing distinctive services designed specifically for them. The Fund, in cooperation with the Emirates Deaf Association, organized an awareness workshop using “sign language” about the Pension System and Law in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the participation of a large number of employees and interested individuals from the category of People of Determination in various government and private authorities. The workshop that was organized “remotely” came within the Fund's keenness to provide all the facilities and appropriate services to this category, develop the communication mechanism, as well as enhance awareness of the Pension System and Law in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi among various groups.

Training the entities on “Smart Contributions”

The Abu Dhabi Pension Fund held a remote training workshop for a number of entities, to educate their employees, who are active members at the Fund, about the “Smart Contributions” system that the Fund launched in March 2019.

The workshop reviewed the most important advantages of the smart contributions system, which contributes to raising the efficiency of entity and reducing costs by saving time, effort and the number of employees, in addition to raising entities’ compliance to the Pension Law.

It is expected that more training workshops on this system will be offered to 234 government authorities and 1,123 entities from the private sector during the coming period.

Induction program for Abu Dhabi government employees

The Fund organized a workshop on the induction program for the new Abu Dhabi government employees, attended by the Fund’s employees, who recently joined the team, during which they were introduced to a summary of the most important information that are of importance to them as government employees in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Sharing Experiences

The Visit of the General Assembly for Social Security “ESA”

The Fund received an official delegation from the General Assembly for Social Security (ESA), to learn about the Fund's pioneering experience in providing pension services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, especially after receiving in 2019 the Merit Award as the best retirement practices in Asia.
The visit came within a tour by the President of the General Assembly for Social Security "ESA", Dr. Joachim Breuer, to learn about the experience of the UAE and its institutions in providing support and social protection to citizens, and the mechanism it pursues to achieve their happiness and well-being

Receiving the delegation of the Moroccan “Caisse de Depot et de Gestion”

The Fund received the delegation of the “Caisse de Depot et de Gestion” in the Kingdom of Morocco, in January of last year before the outbreak of (Covid-19) pandemic. The visit came within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed by the two parties, in Rabat, with the aim of promoting development and economic integration between the two sides, through cooperation and sharing experiences and information about the pension system, based on the principles contained in the economic and Arab work agreements, decisions issued by the Arab Economic Council, and the Unified Agreement for the Investment of Arab Capital in the Arab Countries.

Sharing Experiences with the “Bahraini Social Insurance”

The Fund held a virtual meeting with a delegation from the General Organization for the Social Insurance in Bahrain, with the aim of exchanging knowledge about the policies and plans related to pension and benefits in the two countries.

The meeting came within the Fund’s keenness to strengthen the bonds of relations between the two brotherly countries, and the Fund’s continued endeavor to exchange experiences locally and internationally to reach the international standards in providing integrated government services to customers.

A Workshop with 10 Government Authorities on “Our Best Practices”

The Fund organized a knowledge-sharing workshop with ten government authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which dealt with the best practices applied in the Fund at the level of strategic planning, performance management and human resources. The workshop dealt with a detailed explanation of how to measure the employee productivity and facilitate the follow-up of performance and the rate of achievement. The representatives of the authorities listened to detailed information about the “Nabd” program, which includes all the Fund's operations, in addition to the “Kafaat” system of Human Resources Division.

Detailed Discussions on “Management Practices”

The Fund held several “remote” meetings with some government authorities, including the Dubai Community Development Authority and the Islamic Affairs and Endowments Authority, to discuss the best practices in the field of performance management in the Fund. The meeting came at the request of those authorities to review the Fund’s experience in this regard.

Sharing Experiences on Customers Relationship Management

The Fund continued sharing experiences “remotely” on several topics, including meetings with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (Al-Ain City Municipality), and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council to discuss the most important mechanisms and practices that the Fund adopts in managing customer relations in the Fund.

Community Development “Dubai” discusses the Fund's Experience

The Fund discussed “remotely” with the Community Development Authority in Dubai, the best practices in the work systems and performance management. The meeting came at the request of the authority to review the pioneering experience of the Fund and benefit from the work systems applied herein. During the meeting, the Fund's team presented the most important axes of the strategic plan, as well as the most important systems used by the Fund to measure the performance.

Reviewing the Statistical Analysis Systems for “Quality and Conformity”

During a training workshop to exchange knowledge and experiences with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, the Fund reviewed its experience in using the "Power BI" program, which is one of Microsoft's programs, specialized in statistical analysis, and contributes to facilitating dealing with data and presenting results in attractive ways and interactive visualizations. The Fund's team provided a detailed explanation on how to use the program and the extent of the benefit that has been achieved from it, especially in the collection and analysis of gaps in the required competencies and the ongoing operations in the Fund, in addition to other information and statistics that help the higher management in making various decisions

Discussing “Corporate Competencies Management" with the “Endowment Authority”

The Fund discussed the best practices on managing the corporate competencies with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in response to the authority’s request to review the Fund’s experience in the field of development and competencies management.

Standard Comparison with “Agriculture and Food Safety”

The Fund received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, to learn about the best practices in the mechanism of the Fund’s work. During the meeting, the Customer Happiness Division work mechanism, its tasks and the supporting cadres to implement its plans and priorities were reviewed.
