Proactive Measures
The Fund took many proactive measures before starting the provision of its services to the military pensioners, along with the pensioners registered with the Fund. The nature of customers and their preferred methods of obtaining services were studied, in order to develop improvement plans and provide them with the best services.
Expanded Services and Media Campaign
Following the Fund’s decision to assume the responsibility for the
military pension services sector, the Fund launched an expanded
media and service campaign about its comprehensive role in serving
this sector, its duties and responsibilities. The campaign aimed to
educate the military pensioners and their beneficiaries about the
most important changes that occurred in the military pension
services sector after being transferred to the Fund, as well as
introducing them to the most important services provided by the
Fund and their provision channels.
The campaign also aimed to confirm that there has been no change
in the legislation related to the military pension, the method of
disbursing retirement benefits to the military personnel or their
entitlement mechanism.
Services Development Plan
After the official transfer of the military pension services to the Fund in November 2020, the Fund has set a comprehensive development plan to upgrade all the services provided to the military pensioners and beneficiaries. The development plan aims to expand the scope of services, improve them and make them available remotely for the customers’ convenience and satisfaction.
Training the cadres to serve the “Military” pensioners
Military pensioners and their beneficiaries became able to enjoy all the benefits and services provided by the Fund to the registered pensioners. Accordingly, and in cooperation with the Department of Finance, the Fund's team has been trained to provide all the military pension services, and all pensioners service centers became subject to the supervision and management of the Fund. Moreover, Digital channels were prepared with all the information on the military pension sector, such as the website. Moreover, the service is currently provided through the Fund's customer happiness centers, as well as the military pensioners service centers available in other emirates, in addition to the government platform "Tamm" and the Abu Dhabi Government Contact Center.
