Military Pension
Despite the recent transfer of the military pension sector to the Fund, as the Fund started providing its services to military pensioners in 2020, it succeeded in making qualitative development in the services provision methods to military pensioners. Furthermore, since the Fund was given the responsibility of supervising, managing and developing the work system in the sector, the services provision channels have been expanded, in addition to the inclusion of military pensioners in all the services and features provided by the Fund to its registered pensioners. The Fund currently provides its services to approximately 43,000 military pensioners and their beneficiaries.
The Most Important New Services
Launching Digital Services for Military Pensioners
Last year, the Fund started providing its digital services to the military pensioners covered by the Fund's services and their beneficiaries, through the electronic portal and smart application “Abu Dhabi Pensions”, as a continuation of the Fund's efforts to develop smart services, and within the framework of the improvement measures undertaken by the Fund to develop the military retirement services sector after its transfer to the former, and its quest to expand the scope of these services.
Exemption Requests for "Military Pensioners" from Housing Loans
In cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, the Fund succeeded in completing an electronic linkage between the two authorities with the aim of providing the service of submitting exemption requests from housing loans “automatically” for military pensioners with limited income, as a complementation of the efforts and joint cooperation between the Authority and the Fund to support pensioners with low income, likewise the service provided to civilian pensioners registered with the Fund.
Providing Military Pension Services on the Smart Application “Abu Dhabi Pensions”
To complement its development plan of the military retirement sector, the Fund has started providing its services to military pensioners who are covered by the services of the Fund and their beneficiaries, through the smart application “Abu Dhabi Pensions”. The move came as a continuation of the Fund's efforts to develop smart services, and within the framework of the adopted improvement measures to develop the military retirement services sector after its transfer to the former, and its endeavor to expand the scope of these services. The smart application “Abu Dhabi Pensions” for military pensioners and their beneficiaries enabled 9 new services; Including 6 procedural services and 3 information services.
Providing Pension Services Through the Association of Retired Military Personnel
The Fund signed cooperation agreement with the Association of Retired Military
Personnel, to provide distinguished and
exclusive services to military pensioners who are covered by the Fund's services from
members of the Association.
Under the agreement, military pensioners who are covered by the services of the Fund and
their beneficiaries can submit
their requests for retirement services through the headquarter of the association and
its five branches in the various
emirates of the country, provided that it is accomplished and implemented with the same
approved quality, accuracy and
time frame for the service provision by the Fund in its main channels.
