Grace Period for Previous Services Addition
Last year, the Fund issued a decision to grant the active members registered in the
Fund, a period of three months to
add their previous services by only returning the end-of-service benefits that were
disbursed to them without any
additional cost, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin
Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of
Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to exempt the active members
from paying the addition cost of
previous years of service on the basis of a percentage from the
current salary.
The decision was issued within the framework of the wise leadership vision aimed at
facilitating all the procedures and
easing the burdens on citizens. The grace period lasted for 3 months from October 2021
and ended on January 17, 2022,
which benefited more than
8000 active members.
Distinctive Medical Services in Cooperation with Mubadala Healthcare
The Fund signed joint cooperation agreement with Mubadala Healthcare, which allows the pensioners and their beneficiaries to receive exclusive and distinctive services. Under the agreement, 67,000 civilian and military pensioners covered by the Fund’s services and their beneficiaries benefit from the distinguished medical services provided by the company, where they were given priority to book appointments by allocating a special contact number for them, in addition to benefiting from exclusive awareness workshops. Furthermore, all Fund's employees and their first-degree relatives benefit from the agreement.
Launching Offers and Benefits Page on the Website
During the past year, the Fund launched a page dedicated to providing exclusive offers and benefits to pensioners under the name “Mazaya”, which has been listed on the website, provided that the Fund will update it periodically with special offers. This came with the aim of enhancing social support for the pensioners registered with the Fund and their beneficiaries.
Fazaa Services for Pensioners
Dozens of social benefits and advantages are now provided by the Fund to customers, through the “Fazaa” program, which was launched by Lieutenant-General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Solidarity Fund for Ministry of Interior employees. Over the past year, many pensioners and beneficiaries registered with the Fund benefited from the project, under the agreement signed with the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of Interior employees.
