Self-Employed Workers

Self-employed workers means the citizens who practice, for their own interest, commercial, industrial or agricultural activities and who have a commercial register, or any other official register issued by the competent authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. They may be among those who own an establishment and considers his work in it as a profession or craft and have his own workers. The self-employed may also be of those whose profession depends on their personalities, such as a lawyer, a doctor or an engineer. The registration of employers or the self-employment professions in the pension system in the emirate of Abu Dhabi is optional, and aims to enable the citizen to benefit from all the insurance benefits and services provided by the pension system to its members.
